Concerned Lincoln-Eliot Parents are invited to meet with Jim Marini and Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education Pat Kelly at 9:00 am on Thursday, March 4th in Katie's office at L-E to discuss the class sizes at our school for the coming school year and to stress the importance of relatively smaller class sizes for our unique community.  If you would like to join us we would welcome your participation.

Additionally, it would be great if we could work together to get our message articulated clearly and with lots of data to back it up.  If you are willing to scour MCAS scores or other chunks of data to make the point that our school has some unique challenges in Newton and needs some extra consideration, or if you have specific stories about instances where you felt your child was not able to thrive in a larger class, we could really use your help.

Please contact Miriam Alandydy at mealandydy@comcast.net if you are available.

This will be one of our topics to discuss at our February 8th PTO meeting.
