Join the Lincoln-Eliot School Council

By Administrator - Posted on 03 October 2008

Good Evening Families,

I would like to invite each of you to consider serving on the Lincoln-Eliot school council this year. The school council is an advisory group to the principal. We will discuss a wide range of issues that affect our school community. What should we be spending money on? What should be our educational and curricular priorities? How can we create a more inclusive school community? How do we ensure the educational success of every student in the school?

School council is made up of teachers, parents and community representatives. The council will meet roughly once per month throughout the year at a time that is convenient for all of the members. In the past, these meetings have been from 7:00-8:30pm, but some schools hold them in the morning, others right after school. There is a lot about the school council that we can decide as a group.

You all have a longer history with Lincoln-Eliot than I do. I truly value your opinions and expertise. Please let me know if you would like to be on the school council.

I look forward to hearing from you!
