Houses for Haiti Fundraiser

By vritterband - Posted on 01 February 2010

The students of Lincoln-Eliot Elementary are participating in an art/fundraising project called “Houses for Haiti.”
In our art classes recently, students from grades 1-5 created hundreds of tiny, colorful house-shaped lapel pins. In class, we talked about the ways art can help people in the world by raising both money and awareness.

If you are interested in participating in the Houses for Haiti project, you are welcome to do so by either purchasing one or more house pins, or by selling a batch of house pins in your community (friends, family, co-workers, etc.). Please use the attached order form and return it in your child's purple folder or to his/her teacher.

The houses are available for $5.00 each. All of the proceeds will be donated to AmeriCares, a BBB-accredited charity that is providing relief to the people of Haiti.

Thank you for supporting Lincoln-Eliot’s “Houses for Haiti!” Please be in touch with any questions. Attached to this email you will find an order form that can be returned in your child's purple folder or directly to his/her teacher and a poster that shows you what the pins look like.

See attached order forms and photo of pins.
