During this holiday season, many of us are looking for ways to show our appreciation to our amazing teachers and staff at Lincoln-Eliot. We want to remind our community of the Newton Public Schools Gift Policy. A one time, yearly gift of no more than $150 is permissible from the class, as long as no individual names are included. If you would like to show your appreciation on an individual level this holiday season, parents and children can give gifts in the form of sentimental tokens. Letters, drawings, and crafts are cherished by our teachers and staff. NPS also encourages families to recognize specific staff members with a donation to the Newton Schools Foundation’s Honor Thy Teacher program.
All proceeds benefit the Lincoln-Eliot PTO. Great gift ideas for the holidays!
Two ways to purchase:
- Order forms went home in your child’s purple folder last week. Return it to school in their folder with cash/check (made out to L-E PTO) by this coming Wednesday, Nov 22nd.
- Log into our school’s directory at myschoolanywhere.com and click on the “Our Store” tab.
Any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
We’re looking for volunteers to help coordinate our playground improvements.
In last year’s survey, parents and staff voted on the playground as one of the areas we should focus our fundraising efforts. We’re hoping to make some small improvements this year, but we need your help! Please email email@example.com if you’re interested or want to find out more.
Show your school pride with fun new spirit wear! Makes great gifts for the holidays. Look for order forms that will go out this week in your child’s purple folder. Or order online through the directory. All orders due by November 22 for delivery before the winter break.
